Carla Suarez Navarro’s life has been quite hectic in the last couple of years. The Spanish champion had to retire from tennis after learning that she had cancer. Fortunately, Suárez Navarro declared her cancer to be completely in remission in April 2021 and said she would start a farewell tour that would start at Roland Garros and end with a final US Open appearance.
Following Spain’s exit from the Billie Jean King Cup Finals, Suárez Navarro announced his retirement. Her last singles and doubles matches occurred during Spain’s prior match versus Slovakia.
Carla has just taken on social media given the fantastic news that she and her girlfriend, Olga Garcia are expecting a baby.
