Alycia Parks ended the current season in glory after conquering 2 WTA titles back-to-back in singles and 1 title in doubles. Alycia is one of those players with huge potential who may or may not blossom on the main tour. Following his recent success, the American player improved her ranking dramatically to break in the top 100 and become the new world number 75 and she will be one of the players to watch, especially during the upcoming Australian summer.

A top10 player?

If Alycia plays at her best, she will definitely improve her rankings. She believes that she is already top10 material. After conquering the title in Angers, she commented: “If I keep playing like this, how I’m feeling now, I should be going through draws pretty freely. I do see myself Top 10 next year, which is pretty high, but it’s definitely doable. So I think Top 10 next year is a goal for me.

Ranked world no.75 (career-high), Parks played her last match on the 11th of December when she overcame world no.121 Anna-Lena Friedsam 6-4 4-6 6-4 in the final of the Open P2i Angers Arena Loire Angers.
