Serena Williams has (sort of) retired after playing her last match at the US Open. Nevertheless, the former world number 1 has always stated that she may come back to professional tennis, also giving some hints on social media. Serena shares a precious friendship with Caroline Wozniacki. Talking on the Tennis Channel, Caroline explains why she does not believe that Williams will be back to professional tennis.

“If she plays an exhibition, I think that would be lucky, but I don’t see her back playing on Tour. There are just so many things going on. I think she loves the game so much and it’s been her life for so many years. But at the same time, she is busy. I don’t think we will see her on a professional tennis court again,” said Wozniacki.
