Novak Djokovic is as hungry as ever and his motivation has grown stronger after being sidelined for a big part of 2022 because of his vaccination status. The Serbian sensation is absolutely focussed on having a spectacular 2023. He said he could not be humble in this part of his career and his main target will be winning slams and Masters 1000 tournaments.

“When it comes to goals and ambitions, they are always the highest for me,” said the actual world number 5. “At this stage of my career, I have to be less humble and modest when I talk about goals.”

Talking about his ambitions for the next season, Djokovic added: “The big goals are the Grand Slam events and the Masters 1000 events when I get a chance to play. Also, playing for my country awakes some amazing emotions for me.”

Novak Djokovic will kick-start the new season by playing in the ATP250 in Adelaide before trying to win the Australian Open for the 10th time.
