American tennis prodigy Coco Gauff was thrilled to visit Harvard University’s tennis courts, one of the most esteemed academic institutions in the world. The young player had a fantastic season in 2022, making her first slam final at the French Open and moving to the top 10. She became the world’s best doubles player.

Gauff recently paid a visit to an Ivy League university where she trained with their tennis team in order to get ready for the 2023 season. On her Instagram story, she later made fun of it, joking that she could now claim to have attended Harvard.

“I can officially say I *went* to Harvard,” said Coco.

The Harvard tennis team was also elated to have Coco training with them to boost the following message: “Grateful we got to spend a little time before the holidays with the amazing @cocogauff Welcome to the Harvard Fam! Coco Gauff is currently the #7 ranked #Tennis player on the @wta professional tour. We wish her all the best “Down Under” and continued success for 2023 and beyond! Keep building!”

Now ranked no.7, the American played her last match on the 11th of November when she surrendered to world no.49 Katerina Siniakova 7-6(1) 6-1 in the Rubber 2 in (draw).

Until now, during this year Coco has managed to achieve a 38-23 match record. Cori Gauff’s best result of this season was reaching the final at the French Open.
