There are all sorts of rumors about when Rafa will be able to be back to the tour after his wrist injury. There have been speculations that the King of Clay would have skipped the rest of the seasons, but now apparently he may play an exhibition in Astana (Kazakhstan) against Tsonga.
Actually that could quite possible because the only shot Rafa can’t perform is the double handed backhand, so he could definitely play a non competitive match using only a sliced back hand. Probably Tsonga could follow…
Apparently Rafa will also meet President Nazarbayev to discuss about the possible development of tennis in Kazakhstan. Then he is also scheduled to meet the Nazarbayev University and Haileybury students.
