Alexander Zverev is finally back to competition on the occasion of the Diriyah Tennis Cup in Riyadh. The German sensation is not focusing on having a good run at the upcoming Australian Open, where Carlos Alcaraz will be among the top favorites.
During a recent interview, Sascha said he was not surprised with Carlito winning the US Open. Zvererv revealed:
“I played against him for the first time in Acapulco in 2021. I already said: ‘He’s going to be crazy, he’s going to be an incredible player.’”

Now the world no.12, the German played his last match on the 8th of December when he overcame world no.105 Dominic Thiem 10-8 10-7 in the 1st round in (draw).
