Novak Djokovic did not start the previous season on the right foot, to say the least, after he was deported from Australia following a huge saga. Fortunately, the Serbian sensation ended 2022 on a high note after winning the ATP Finals.
During a recent interview, Novak admitted that his experience in Australia had a huge mental toll on him. “The second part of the season was positive; what happened in Australia left me mentally empty and influenced my game in some ways,” said Novak recently in Paris.
Djokovic is recharging his batteries in Spain with his family. He will play his first tournament of the new season in Adelaide, where he is leading an incredibly competitive entry list.
