After winning the US Open in 2021, Raducanu became an overnight sensation, rekindling interest in British tennis much like when Andy Murray rose to the top. But with the media’s attention firmly fixed on her and expectations pressing down on her shoulders, Raducanu felt a lot of pressure. Nevertheless, Emma is aware that she can seek help from a fellow “survivor.”

“Andy Murray is so good to talk to because he’s been through pretty much what I’ve been going through,” Raducanu commented talking to Grazia. “I have always looked up to him and watched him winning his first Wimbledon and the Olympics.”
