Stefanos Tsitsipas has always stated that he modeled his back following Roger Federer and Pete Sampras. The Greek sensation loved the way Roger was playing tennis and during a recent interview, he acknowledged that the Swiss sensation was virtually unstoppable during his prime.
The Greek player discussed Federer’s prime in an interview with the Diriyah Tennis Cup prior to the competition, saying that the 41-year-old was “unstoppable” when he was at his best.
“Roger’s best years, you know, he was kind of unstoppable. It seemed so going forwards,” Tsitsipas said.
The Diriyah Tennis Cup, which will begin on December 8 in Saudi Arabia, will feature the World No. 4 in its lineup. Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev are two other well-known competitors in the competition.
