Nick Kyrgios has always refused to appoint a formal coach. The Australian sensation managed to reach the Wimbledon final still remaining coach-less. The ATP published the nomination of the coach of the year. Nick had a point saying he should be part of the nominations because he managed to coach himself to the Wimbledon final. Furthermore, he improved his ranking substantially in 2022.
Despite not receiving a nomination in any category, Nick Kyrgios could be considered for Comeback Player of the Year if he were to return from an injury after climbing more than 80 spots in the ATP Rankings.
Tbh I should be in coach of the year, I coached myself to a Wimbledon final 😂
