Emma Raducanu hit the headlines all over the world in September 2021 when she won the US Open and became the first qualifier to win a major in tennis history. Interestingly enough, during a recent interview with outlet Grazia Magazine, Emma revealed that for her family, winning the US Open was not a big deal. “Winning the US Open wasn’t a big deal at all for my family – it was just like a normal Friday or Saturday night,” said Emma.

Emma has always stated that she received “tough love” from her Chinese mother and and Romanian father.
