It has been confirmed by Rafael Nadal that his son is named after his grandfather. Currently, the Spaniard and Casper Ruud are touring South America.

Rafael Nadal is traveling in South America with Casper Ruud for a tour that will see him playing in 6 different cities. The schedule is quite hectic and Rafa is juggling between matches, interviews and travel. During a recent press conference, Nadal confirmed that his son is named after his grandfather Rafael and that, for him, it is a new world.
