Rafael Nadal is traveling in South America with Casper Ruud for a tour that will see him playing in 6 different cities. The schedule is quite hectic and Rafa is juggling between matches, interviews and travel. During a recent press conference, Nadal confirmed that his son is named after his grandfather Rafael and that, for him, it is a new world.

Now ranked no.2, the Spaniard played his last match on the 17th of November when he overcame world no.3 Casper Ruud 7-5 7-5 in the round robin in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw).
Currently, during this season Rafael owns an overall 39-8 match record. Nadal has won 4 titles in 2022 in Melbourne, Australian Open, Acapulco and French Open. Nadal got to the final in Indian Wells.
