Bianca Andreescu will try again to return to her glorious past when she looked almost unbeatable. In 2019, Bianca was the player to beat, especially after she conquered the US Open. Later, the Canadian sensation injured her knee badly during the WTA Finals and she never recovered from that.
Her new coach Christophe Lambert
In order to join Bianca Andreescu’s coaching staff for the 2023 season, Christophe Lambert has announced that he is resigning from his position as the New Zealand Tennis High Performance Director. Andreescu ended her partnership with coach Sven Groeneveld after her disappointing 2022 season.
Christophe coached Bianca back in the days when she was younger. “Bianca asked me to coach her and I accepted the job. It was an offer I couldn’t refuse. It wasn’t like every week or every month. It’s always good to have people calling you when you are up, but when she was down I was checking on her and giving her my opinion,” Lambert said.
