Why Novak Djokovic does not deserve the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award according to tennis pundit

Novak Djokovic not nominated for ATP's Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award. Tennis pundit Rennae Stubbs says he does not deserve the award because of his violent outbursts on court.

Novak Djokovic Smashing A Racket

Novak Djokovic is probably the most gracious loser in the history of tennis besides having achieved unbelievable results in his outstanding career. In addition, the former world number 1 is extremely active in helping fellow tennis players and other people with his foundation. His tennis fans are quite upset because the Serbian legend was once again not included in the nominations for the ATP’s Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award.

According to tennis pundit Rennae Stubbs, while Novak Djokovic has a lot of good traits, he does not deserve the nomination for this award because of his occasional but very violent outbursts on court.

“Nothing to do with that. Novak is not a great sport on court: he’s been defaulted, broken racquets, etcetera, among other things,” said Stubbs on Twitter.

After enough and said that it is not right that Djokovic is not nominated, Stubb added: “”He does stuff like this, absolutely! So do A LOT OF PLAYERS! He also has outbursts on court! Smashed the net at the French Open, and threw his racquet that almost hit a ball kid in Serbia. I could go on, but it’s pointless with you stans! You see gold toilets with your heroes!” wrote Stubbs.”
