Andy Murray and Emma Raducanu have both announced that where they will compete at the beginning of 2023. Emma will play her first tournament in Auckland, while Andy will kickstart the season in Adelaide. The tournament will start on the 9th of January.
Andy released the following statement:
“I’ll be starting the year in Australia, which I always really enjoy. Playing at Adelaide International for the first time is something I’m looking forward to. The crowds in Australia love their tennis, and they’ve always been very supportive. I’ve been working hard in the off-season and the Adelaide International will be great preparation for the Australian Open.”

LWWLWLWLWL Currently ranked no.49, Andy played his last match on the 31st of October when he was defeated by world no.143 Gilles Simon 4-6 7-5 6-3 in the 1st round in Paris (draw).
At present, during this year Murray owns an overall 29-20 win-loss record. Andy Murray’s best result of the current year was reaching the final in Sydney and Stuttgart.
Emma Raducanu in 2022
WWWWLWWLLW Ranked no.75, Raducanu played her last match on the 4th of October when she surrendered to world no.8 Darya Kasatkina 7-5 6-4 in the 1st round in Ostrava (draw).
This season the Brit has an overall 17-19 record. Emma Raducanu’s best accomplishment of the year was reaching the semifinal in Seoul.
