Lorenzo Musetti is currently in Malaga, where he will play the Davis Cup representing team Italy. His team will face the USA in the quarter-finals without the presence of Matteo Berrettini and Jannik Sinner (both injured). Nevertheless, the mood seems to be quite good in the Italian team. Lorenzo Musetti commented:
“We are trying certain things that is a nice atmosphere in the group we always manage to have fun during training. I think this is the most important thing especially when you play within a team and the conditions are slightly faster than in Bologna, but it is a condition that can also help us in some respects. So we’re ready.”

LLWWLLWWLW Currently ranked no.23 (career-high), Musetti played his last match on the 10th of November when he lost to world no.42 Jack Draper 4-1 4-0 4-3(3) in the round robin in the Next Gen ATP Finals (draw).
Until now, during this year Musetti has a compiled 44-28 record. Musetti conquered 3 titles in 2022 in the Forli 6 Challenger, Hamburg and Naples.
