Hubert Hurkacz And Iga Swiatek

Hubert Hurkacz and Iga Swiatek are the top Polish players and they are making their voice heard after the president of the Polish tennis federation was accused of abusing a teenager when she was 13. Swiatek wrote a long post against women’s abuse and Hubert was extremely direct in asking for action with the following statement:

“I support all women and all victims of abuse. No coach or guardian should use their power and position towards anyone. Any aggression both in sports as well as outside of it needs to be condemned and punished. I hope that appropriate authorities will react to the press reports on the subject of the head of the Polish Tennis Association – Mirostaw Skrzypczynski. I stand with all victims of abuse.”
