In her most recent video, Paige Spiranac talked about male sports figures like Lebron James, Tom Brady, David Beckham, and Cristiano Ronaldo to highlight the hypocrisy of male athletes who also make money by “over-sexualizing” themselves.
Spiranac first used Twitter to retaliate against “haters” who had been unfairly critical of her social media persona, which they saw as an overly exaggerated objectification of herself from which she greatly benefited. Spiranac began her response by defending female athletes like Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka who, at some point in their careers, “sexualized” themselves by being featured in Sports Illustrated.
“I know what you are thinking,a man would never show off his body for attention or over-sexualize themselves, or do it for monetary gain. Are you sure about that?”, she said.
Then Paige went on showing the pictures of some top male personalities flaunting their six-pack.
