Casper Ruud and Rafael Nadal will spend a lot of time together in the next few days. They are going to go all over the places in Latin America for the so-called Rafa Nadal Tour that will touch the following countries:
- Wednesday, November 23: Roca Park Arena, Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Friday, November 25: Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo, Santiago, Chile
- Saturday, November 26: Ginásio do Mineirinho, Belo Horizonte, Brazil
- Sunday, November 27: General Rumiñahui Coliseum, Quito, Ecuador
- Tuesday, November 29: Coliseo Live, Bogota, Colombia
- Thursday, December 1: Plaza de Toros, Mexico City, Mexico
On November 23, Ruud will face the Mallorcan in the first match of the tour, which will be followed by a mixed doubles match. In contrast to Nadal, who will pair up with Argentine Gabriela Sabatini for the doubles match, the Norwegian will partner with former World No. 1 in doubles Gisela Dulko.
Casper has just lost in the final of the recent ATP Finals to Novak Djokovic. He was honored to be asked to participate to this tour to say:
“It’s something that I was honored to be invited to the Latin American tour with Rafa. I’m not going to say it’s going to be very demanding. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. Let’s see when I get back. I still will have many days to recover from the jet lag and whatever,” he added.

Ranked no.2, Nadal played his last match on the 17th of November when he overcame world no.3 Casper Ruud 7-5 7-5 in the round robin in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw)

Now ranked no.3, Casper played his last match on the 20th of November when he surrendered to world no.5 Novak Djokovic 7-5 6-3 in the final in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw).
Presently, during this year Ruud has managed to achieve a composed 51-22 record. The Norwegian conquered 3 titles in 2022 in Buenos Aires, Geneva and Gstaad. Casper reached the final in Miami, French Open, U.S. Open and Nitto ATP Finals.
Rafael Nadal and Casper Ruud clashed against each other just on 2 occasions. Their current record is 2-0 for Nadal. Previously, the last time they competed against each other, Rafael Nadal won 7-5 7-5 in the round robin in Turin (Nitto ATP Finals) on the 17th of November 2022.
