ATP FINALS. Why Novak Djokovic will feel some pressure according to Casper Ruud

Casper is confident that also the Serbian legend will feel some pressure on Sunday in Turin

Djokovic Ruud

Novak Djokovic and Casper Ruud will clash on Sunday for the title of the ATP Finals in Turin at 7 p.m. Novak Djokovic has won this tournament 5 times and he is used to playing for big titles. Nevertheless, Casper is confident that also the Serbian legend will feel some pressure. In addition, Djokovic has been struggling with his fitness for the entire week and therefore, he may not trust his condition.

Talking about the upcoming final, Casper commented:

“He’s a player that doesn’t have many weaknesses at all, but you know he’s human. He’s had a great year even though he’s been unfortunate with everything going on for him. But he is human. He lost two weeks ago to Rune in the final, so it’s not like he plays these finals every day of his career and his life.

I am sure he will also feel a little bit of pressure. There’s a lot on the line. Ranking-wise I’m maybe ahead of him but I feel like the underdog. He has won this tournament five times and I’ve seen them all on TV and how great he played.”
