Novak Djokovic won an incredible battle on Friday against Daniil Medvedev at the ATP Finals in Turin. The Serbian ace looked completely done after losing the second set. Novak was shaking uncontrollably and had issues with his balance at times. Djokovic found his way to winning the match in 3 sets.
During the press conference that followed the encounter, Novak was asked to explain what was happening to his body and if there was any sort of illness. Djokovic replied that the intensity of the fight he was having with Medvedev made his body react in that way.
“It was just fatigue from grueling battle. That’s all I can say. I mean, there was no illness. There was no particular part of the body that was bothering me. It was just overall physical exhaustion from the rallies and from the length of the play,” he commented.
