Novak Djokovic won a match out of this world on Friday at the ATP Finals against a stubborn Daniil Medvedev. It took 3 hours for the Serbian us to conquer his opponent. However, a rather dramatic moment occurred after Djokovic lost the second set when he was shaking uncontrollably. Novak looked completely under the weather and in precarious conditions. Eventually, as usual, he found the solution winning 6-3 6-7(5) 7-6(2).

“He should retire”

That match was just a dead rubber, and the Serbian player was already qualified as the number 1 in the red grouper for the semi-finals. Tennis fans could not believe their eyes and somebody on Twitter even suggested that Djokovic had to retire. Top commentator and former world number 24 Annabel Croft was also in disbelief, saying that Novak was just living a nightmare.

“He’s not even walking as we normally see him waking; he looks as if he’s stumbling; he looks as if he’s feeling sick and dizzy. He doesn’t look right at all and it’s a complete nightmare for him because he just wanted to get this match done and dusted, have a three from three in the group stages,” she said.
