Carlos Alcaraz could not play the ATP Finals in Turin because of an abdominal injury suffered in Paris. That made things a bit tricky for the world number 1, who could lose his top spot in the rankings to Rafael Nadal or Stefanos Tsitsipas. However, none of them managed to win a single match so far in the Finals, and they will miss the opportunity to overtake Alcaraz in the rankings before the end of the season. Carlito is now guaranteed that he will be the year-end world number 1 and was invited to Turin to celebrate his achievement on Wednesday at 9 p.m.
