Novak Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas play their first match in the ATP Finals in Turin on Monday. It was the Serbian sensation to win in straight sets playing better tennis. Nevertheless, during the encounter, Stefanos tried to use the crowd with some gestures after winning a point in the 6th game of the opening set. Novak did not appreciate that and did the same after winning the following points. That was interesting.

Stefanos Tsitsipas had the opportunity to become the new world number one if he won all the matches in the ATP Finals. That will not be possible anymore after he lost to Djokovic on Monday. Of the currently active players in the ATP Finals, only Rafael Nadal tennis match the world number 1 rank from Carlos Alcaraz. That will happen only if the Spanish sensation wins the title in Turin.
