ABDOMINAL INJURY. Why Alcaraz will not play the ATP Finals with Nadal and Djokovic

Carlos Alcaraz will have to wait a few weeks before he will be able to be back to competition

Carlos Alcaraz Injury

Carlos Alcaraz ended what many call the regular season as the world number 1. Therefore, the 19-year-old qualified for the ATP Finals alongside the likes of Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. Unfortunately, the Spanish sensation will not be able to compete in the season’s finale because he suffered from an abdominal injury 2 weeks ago in Paris.

After the tournament in France, Carlito immediately went back to Spain to understand the entity of his injury. The result was not really great since Alcaraz was advised not to play for the rest of the season since his recovery was estimated to be in 6 weeks. Alcaraz is also not part of the lineup of the newly-minted United Cup that will commence on the 29th of December in Australia.
