Alexander Zverev had a tough 2022 after he got badly injured during the semifinal against Rafael Nadal at the Roland Garros. The German player had to skip the rest of the season and he will and the ear outside of the top10 being ranked the only number 12. Fortunately, Zverev announced that he will be back to competitions in December on the occasion of the World Tennis League, a competition that will be played from the 19 of December to the 24th in Dubai.

Ranked world no.12, Zverev played his last match on the 3rd of June when he had to retire when playing against world no.2 Rafael Nadal in the semifinal and the scoreline was 7-6(8) 6-6 .
Currently, during this year the German achieved a composed 29-10 win-loss record. Alexander Zverev’s most significant result of this year was reaching the final in Montpellier and Madrid.
