Novak Djokovic lost a tough final in Paris on Sunday against an inspired Holger Rune. During the third set, the Serbian sensation seemed to have some issues with her left thigh. He asked for the intervention of a physical trainer for a massage. When asked about what his issue was, Novak decided to decline to go into details to say:

“I do not want to talk about that because I know you guys can take that as an excuse for my loss or something like that.

Everything was fine physically. When you play day after day, it’s normal to have some tightness here and there, but I was not injured. I fought until the last moment, but it was not to be for me today.”
