Novak Djokovic lost a very tough final in Paris on Sunday at the hands of 19-year-old Holger Rune. The Serbian legend was the favourite to win the title, but eventually, the Danish teenager was too good.

Novak is a great champion not only for his incredible success but also for how he copes with defeats. Once again, Novak was extremely gracious in defeat on Sunday after he lost the final, even if he was pretty disappointed with the outcome. Novak gave a very warm hug to his conqueror and during the trophy presentation he said:

“I want to say congratulation to you and your team and your family. You are absolutely deserve this victory. What an amazing week you have.

I’m not happy that you beat me, but I happy for you because I like your personality. I think you are a very dedicated guy that loves tennis. You put a lot of hours into hard work so it’s paying off for you and I’m sure that the future is bright for you and your team. Congratulation,”
