Carlos Alcaraz, unfortunately, announced on Saturday that he would not be able to play in the ATP Finals because of the abdominal injury that made him retire in Paris.

With Carlito out, Taylor Fritz will get a spot in the ATP Finals because according to the live rankings he will be no.9 on Monday. Holger Rune might also have the opportunity to play the Finals if he wins Paris (he would be no.10 on Monday) and some other qualified player declines to compete (Nadal?).
