Matteo Berrettini had a horrible season in terms of fitness to withdraw from the last tournament of the year in Paris. The Italian player injured his foot and was hoping to compete after reaching the final in Naples. Unfortunately, that will not happen and Matteo will be replaced by either a lucky loser or a qualifier. Matteo also has failed to qualify for the ATP Finals that will be staged in Turin.
