Carlos Alcaraz managed to become the youngest world number 1 in tennis history at just 19 years of age. The new Spanish sensation also won his first slam last September after conquering the US Open. It’s very easy for such a young man to lose control of his life after so much success. Nevertheless, Carlito is still very grounded, and he is very well aware that he needs to manage his fame.
During a recent interview, Alcaraz commented:
“The situation has changed, but not my life. I still have the same family, the same friends, the same team. That’s why I’m still the same person and the same player who always wants to improve and train hard.”
Alcaraz’s girlfriend
Carlito is happy to have his immediate family with him when playing tournaments. It is not rare to see his father, mother, and older brother in his player’s box. However, he is still not publicizing much about his relationship with his girlfriend Maria González Giménez.
