Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev are confirmed to play in the Diriyah Cup in South Arabia. The competition will take place between the 8th and the 10th of December. The organization has the aim of signing 12 top players.
Rafael Nadal may not take part to the event because he will have an extensive tour in Latin America soon after the ATP Finals in Turin. Nevertheless, it is expected that some other top players such as Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic will be contacted by the organization that is notoriously not very concerned about spending a lot of money to promote the event. Is not a surprise that the prize money is as much as of three million U.S. dollar. Medvedev won the last edition in 2019.

Alexander Zverev in 2022
WWWWWWWLWW Now ranked no.6, Zverev played his last match on the 3rd of June when he had to retire when playing against world no.2 Rafael Nadal in the semifinal and the scoreline was 7-6(8) 6-6 .
This year the German has achieved a compiled 29-10 match record. Alexander Zverev’s most significant accomplishment of the current season was getting to the final in Montpellier and Madrid.
Zverev is scheduled to compete next in Paris (Rolex Paris Masters). He will commence the tournament from the main draw on the 31st of October.
Daniil Medvedev in 2022
Now ranked no.4, Daniil played his last match on the 8th of October when he had to retire when playing against world no.7 Novak Djokovic in the semifinal and the scoreline was 4-6 7-6(6) 0-0 .
At present, during this year Medvedev has achieved a composed 40-15 record. Daniil conquered 1 title in Los Cabos. Medvedev got to the final at the Australian Open, in Hertogenbosch and in Halle.
He is also scheduled to play in Paris (Rolex Paris Masters) after Vienna. The main draw will start on the 24th of October.
Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev faced off 12 times. Their head to head is 6-6. Before, the last time they fought against each other, Alexander Zverev won 6-4 6-4 in the final in Turin (Nitto ATP Finals) in November 2021.

Carlos Alcaraz in 2022

Novak Djokovic in 2022
LWWWWWWLWW Ranked world no.7, Novak played his last match on the 9th of October when he defeated world no.5 Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3 6-4 in the final in Astana to win his 90th career title.
At the moment, during this season the Serbian has a 33-6 match record. Novak clinched 4 titles in 2022 in Rome, Wimbledon, Tel Aviv and Astana. Novak was the runner-up in Belgrade.
Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic played each other once. The head to head is 1-0 for Alcaraz. When they played, Carlos Alcaraz won 6-7(5) 7-5 7-6(5) in the semifinal in Madrid (Mutua Madrid Open) on the 7th of May 2022.
