Serena wins her 62nd title in Cincinnati

Serena Williams is not achieving the same results that she had in 2013, but she is still ruling. The world no.1 had a great run in Cincinnati to finally win her first Western & Southern Open.

In this final, Ana Ivanovic had a great start  to break Serena in the very first game and then get a 3-1 lead. Then it was game over: Serena won 11 of the following 13 games to win 6-4 6-1. Serena’s style.

The match was one-way traffic with Serena scoring 63 points vs. Ana’s 40. The American fired 12 aces (3 double faults) and she won 80% of the points on her first serve. Match Stats.
