Rafael Nadal and his wife Maria Francisca have just become parents of a baby boy. Rafa and his wife remained quite secretive about the newborn. They didn’t release any pictures and they did not disclose the name of their son. However, according to some reports, Nadal and his wife decided to call their child Rafael honoring the memory of Rafa’s grandfather. That prompted some reaction from social media of people already dreaming of another Rafael Nadal winning plenty of Roland Garros.

Now the world no.2, Rafael played his last match on the 5th of September when he surrendered to world no.17 Francis Tiafoe 6-4 4-6 6-4 6-3 in the 4th round of the U.S. Open (draw).
This season the Spaniard has managed to achieve a compiled 38-5 win-loss record. Rafael clinched 4 titles in 2022 in Melbourne, Australian Open, Acapulco and French Open. Nadal reached the final in Indian Wells.
Nadal has scheduled to play next in Paris (Rolex Paris Masters). He will start from the main draw on the 31st of October.
