Bernard Tomic and Michael Llodra will receive the US Open wild-cards thanks to a reciprocal agreement with the Australian and French Federation (is this fair for players that do not belong to these nations?).
The other wild-cards are all Americans: Ryan Harrison, Tim Smyczek, Marcos Giron, Wayne Odensik, Jared Donaldson and Noah Rubin (the 2014 Junior Wimbledon Champion).
16-year-old Francis Tiafoe was granted a wild-card for the qualifications.
