Defending champion Vika Azarenka decided to pull out from the Western and Southern Open because of a right knee injury.
The world no.10 was deeply unhappy to comment “It’s tough to withdraw as defending champion. It is a great tournament and I really enjoy it. I should be good for the US Open.”
Vika has already been sidelined for an injury (ankle) for the great part of this season. Let’s see if she will make it for the last slam.
