Rafael Nadal has finally achieved his dream of being a father after his wife Maria Francisca Perello gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday in Palma de Mallorca. It is not clear yet what his son’s name is, but there is speculation that he was called Rafael in honor of Nadal’s grandfather.
It seems that the King of Clay has all the intentions to be back to competitions this year. Rafa will not play in any tournament in the following 2 weeks. He is scheduled only to play in Paris from the 24th of October before trying to finally win the ATP Finals.

Currently ranked no.2, Rafael played his last match on the 5th of September when he surrendered to world no.17 Francis Tiafoe 6-4 4-6 6-4 6-3
in the 4th round of the U.S. Open (draw).During this season Rafael has managed to achieve an overall 38-5 win-loss record. Rafael has won 4 titles in 2022 in Melbourne, Australian Open, Acapulco and French Open. Rafael got to the final in Indian Wells.
Nadal has scheduled to play next in Paris (Rolex Paris Masters). He will start to play the tournament from the main draw on the 31st of October.
