Iga Swiatek, Paula Badosa Gibert, Aryna Sabalenka and Cori Gauff are all part of the WTA500 tournament that will be played in San Diego next week. The tournament is a new one and therefore, there are no defending champions.

Swiatek in Ostrava, ranking, and results in 2022
Ranked world no.1, Iga achieved a compiled 59-7 win-loss record in 2022. The Pole is now having a run in Ostrava where she overcame the world no.34 Ajla Tomljanovic 7-5 2-2 ret. and the world no.151 Caty McNally 6-4 6-4.
Iga Swiatek will square off with the world no.21 Ekaterina Alexandrova in the semifinal on Saturday at 4:00 pm on Center Court. Their head to head is 1-0 for Alexandrova.
Iga clinched 7 titles in 2022 in Doha, in Indian Wells, in Miami, in Stuttgart, in Rome, at the French Open and at the U.S. Open.

Swiatek has scheduled to compete next in San Diego (San Diego Open). She will start the tournament from the main draw on the 10th of October.
Paula Badosa Gibert in 2022
Ranked world no.4, Badosa played her last match on the 5th of October when she was overcome by world no.20 Petra Kvitova 7-6(4) 6-4 in the 2nd round in Ostrava (draw).
This season Badosa has managed to achieve a compiled 30-19 win-loss record. Badosa conquered 1 title in Sydney.
She is also scheduled to play in Guadalajara (Guadalajara Open Akron) after San Diego. The main draw will start on the 10th of October.
Iga Swiatek and Paula Badosa Gibert clashed against each other only twice. Their current record is 1-1. Before, the last time they played, Iga Swiatek won 7-5 6-4 in the round robin in Guadalajara (WTA Finals) in November 2021.

Aryna Sabalenka in 2022
Now the world no.5, the Belarussian played her last match on the 8th of September when she surrendered to world no.1 Iga Swiatek 3-6 6-1 6-4 in the semifinal in the U.S. Open (draw).
Currently, during this season Aryna has a 29-18 record. Aryna Sabalenka’s best accomplishment of this year was reaching the final in Stuttgart and Hertogenbosch.
Cori Gauff in 2022
Ranked world no.8 (career-high), Coco played her last match on the 6th of September when she lost to world no.10 Caroline Garcia 6-3 6-4 in the quarter in the U.S. Open (draw).
This year Coco has a 34-17 match record. Cori Gauff’s most significant result of this season was reaching the final at the French Open.
