Roger Federer did it again! The Maestro reaches his 5th Rogers Cup final after a great match against Feliciano Lopez gifting the crowd with super shots.
The final was just one way traffic. Even if Roger has broken Lopez “only” twice, the Spaniard was often struggling with his serve (especially in the 1st set). The match ended 6-3 6-4 in just 84 minutes.
Federer: I am very happy
Roger was elated by his performance to comment “From my standpoint, I think I served well. I was aggressive, and I was able to really play the way I wanted to play tonight. I’m very happy.”
The final vs. Tsonga
Roger will try to conquer his 80th title against Tsonga that I having a great week. The Frenchman has defeated back to back Djokovic, Murray and Dimitrov. Head to head is 11-4 for Federer that is the favorite to win the title, unless Tsonga plays once again at his very best.
