Carlos Alcaraz and Stefanos Tsitsipas are among the top stars of the current ATP500 tournament that is staged this week in Astana. Both players have a huge fan base and therefore, they participated in an event organized by the tournament on an outdoor court. It seems that both had great fun.

Ranked world no.1, Carlos played his last match on the 18th of September when he overcame world no.120 Soon-Woo Kwon 6-4 7-6(1) in the Rubber 2 of the Davis Cup (draw).
Until now, during this year the Spaniard achieved a compiled 52-10 win-loss record. The Spaniard has won 5 titles in 2022 in Rio de Janeiro, Miami, Barcelona, Madrid and U.S. Open. The Spaniard reached the final in Hamburg and in Umag.
Alcaraz will compete next in Basel (Swiss Indoors Basel). He will start to play the tournament from the main draw on the 24th of October.
Tsitsipas in Astana, ranking, and results in 2022
Ranked no.6, Stefanos achieved an overall 48-18 record in 2022. Stefanos is participating in Astana where he ousted the world no.221 Mikhail Kukushkin 6-3 6-4.
Stefanos Tsitsipas will fight against the world no.152 Luca Nardi in the 2nd round. In the past, they have never competed against each other as of now on the main tour.
Stefanos has won 2 titles in 2022 in Monte-Carlo and in Mallorca. The Greek was the runner-up in Rotterdam (ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament), in Rome (Internazionali BNL d’Italia) and in Cincinnati (Western & Southern Open).

Tsitsipas has scheduled to compete next in Vienna (Erste Bank Open). He will start from the main draw on the 24th of October.
