Carlos Alcaraz will be seed number 1 in the upcoming ATP 500 tournament in Astana. The main draw will start on Monday and the young Spaniard will be opposed to Holger Rune in what will be a very interesting first-round match.

Ranked no.1, Alcaraz played his last match on the 18th of September when he defeated world no.121 Soon-Woo Kwon 6-4 7-6(1) in the Rubber 2 of the Davis Cup (draw).

Holger Rune will face the world no.10 Jannik Sinner in the semifinal. They have never played each other up to now in top tournaments.
