Now ranked no.1, Alcaraz played his last match on the 18th

of September when he beat world no.121 Soon-Woo Kwon 6-4 7-6(1) in the Rubber 2 of the Davis Cup (draw).

Currently, during this year Alcaraz has an overall 52-10 win-loss record. The Spaniard has won 5 titles in 2022 in Rio de Janeiro, Miami, Barcelona, Madrid and U.S. Open. Carlos reached the final in Hamburg and in Umag.

Alcaraz is scheduled to compete next in Nur-Sultan (Astana Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw on the 3rd of October.
