Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Jannik Sinner and Frances Tiafoe are on the entry list of the ATP500 that will be staged in Vienna from the 24th of October. The tournament will feature in the same week as the ATP500 that will be played in Basel. The defending champion is Alexander Zverev, who defeated Frances Tiafoe last year in the final 7-5 6-4. Zverev had to withdraw from this year’s tournament since he still has to recover from his ankle injury.

Daniil Medvedev in 2022
LWWWWLWWLW Currently the world no.4, Medvedev played his last match on the 22nd of September when he lost to world no.193 Stan Wawrinka 6-4 6-7(7) 6-3 in the 2nd round in Metz (draw).
Currently, during this season the Russian owns a compiled 37-14 match record. The Russian conquered 1 title in Los Cabos. Medvedev got to the final at the Australian Open, in Hertogenbosch and in Halle.

Stefanos Tsitsipas in 2022
Currently ranked no.6, Tsitsipas played his last match on the 25th of September when he lost to world no.19 Francis Tiafoe 1-6 7-6(11) 10-8 in the round robin in the Laver Cup (draw).
At present, during this year Stefanos has a composed 47-18 record. Tsitsipas clinched 2 titles in 2022 in Monte-Carlo and Mallorca. Tsitsipas was the finalist in Rotterdam, in Rome and in Cincinnati.
Tsitsipas will compete next in Nur-Sultan (Astana Open). He will begin to play the tournament from the main draw on the 3rd of October.

WWWWWWW Now ranked no.10, Jannik played his last match on the 18th of September when he was defeated by world no.94 Mikael Ymer 6-4 3-6 6-3 in the Rubber 2 of the Davis Cup (draw).
Currently, during this year Sinner has a 43-13 match record. Sinner has won 1 title in Umag.
Frances Tiafoe in 2022
LWLWLWLWLW Ranked world no.19 (career-high), Tiafoe played his last match on the 25th of September when he defeated world no.6 Stefanos Tsitsipas 1-6 7-6(11) 10-8 in the round robin in the Laver Cup (draw).
This season Tiafoe has a 27-20 match record. Frances Tiafoe’s best result of the present year was reaching the final in Estoril.
Jannik Sinner and Frances Tiafoe played each other 3 times. The head to head is 2-1 for Sinner. The last time they squared off, Frances Tiafoe won 3-6 7-5 6-2 in the semifinal in Vienna (Erste Bank Open) in October 2021.
