Kei Nishikori has just announced that he is not fit to play in Canada because of a foot injury. The Japanese reached the 3rd round in last year’s Roger’s Cup before losing to Gasquet.
This is the 4th top player to retire from Toronto after Nadal, Florian Mayer and Dolgopolov. Kei was seeded no. 11. Robredo will take his place in the draw.
