DRAW. Will Djokovic play in Tel Aviv despite wrist injury?

Novak Djokovic got injured to his right wrist and there are some obvious doubts about his participation in Tel Aviv this week

Djokovic Injured To Play In Tel Aviv

Novak Djokovic has started his run at the Laver Cup in the best possible way after dismissing Francis Tiafoe on Saturday with a rather straightforward 6-1 6-3 scoreline. Unfortunately, things went south for the former world number 1 the day after when he lost in straight sets against Felix Auger Aliassime, struggling with a wrist injury.

Novak Djokovic conceded that the issue with his right wrist affected his performance, especially his service game, since he could not find power and precision. The big question mark is now if Novak will play in Tel Aviv this week. Novak is set to play in Israel, where he is seeded number 1 and also considered the hot favorite for the title.

Since Djokovic has been struggling with his injury and he is also scheduled to play the following week at the ATP 500 event in Astana, it would be understandable if he decides not to play in Israel. Time will tell. Click here to see the Tel Aviv draw.
