Emma Raducanu released a video in which she confirmed her participation in the upcoming WTA tournament in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) that will take place on the 10th of October. As of now, Emma does not have the rank to access the main draw directly. Nevertheless, it seems obvious that if she cannot access the main draw as an alternate, she will probably get a wild card. Emma has strong connections with Romania, which is the country of her father.
This is the second edition of this tournament. Last year the champion was Anett Kontaveit who defeated Simona Halep in the final. None of them are on the entry list this year. In 2021, Emma lost in the quarterfinals to Marta Kostyuk.

Emma Raducanu in 2022
LLWWWWLWWL Now the world no.66, Raducanu played her last match on the 24th of September when she had to retire when playing against world no.17 Jelena Ostapenko in the semifinal and the scoreline was 4-6 6-3 3-0 .
This year Raducanu achieved a compiled 17-18 win-loss record. Emma Raducanu’s latest run in Seoul was the best achievement of her season.
She is also scheduled to play in Cluj-Napoca (Transylvania Open) after Ostrava. The main draw will start on the 3rd of October.
Barbora Krejcikova in 2022
Now the world no.27, the Czech played her last match on the 31st of August when she was defeated by world no.82 Aleksandra Krunic 2-6 6-4 6-2 in the 2nd round of the U.S. Open (draw).
This season Barbora achieved a 16-14 win-loss record. Barbora Krejcikova’s most significant performance of this year was reaching the final in Sydney.
She is also scheduled to play in Cluj-Napoca (Transylvania Open) after Ostrava. The main draw will start on the 3rd of October.

Irina-Camelia Begu in 2022
Currently the world no.33, Begu played her last match on the 18th of September when she beat world no.107 Reka-Luca Jani 6-3 6-3 in the final of the Tiriac Foundation Trophy Bucharest to win her 5th career title.
Presently, during this year the Romanian has a 30-16 match record. The Romanian clinched 2 titles in 2022 in Palermo and the Bucharest.
