Emma Raducanu posted the following message on Instagram stories confirming her participation to the WTA 250 in Cluj-Napoca (Romania)

Entry List Cluj Napoca With Emma Raducanu

Emma Raducanu released a video in which she confirmed her participation in the upcoming WTA tournament in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) that will take place on the 10th of October. As of now, Emma does not have the rank to access the main draw directly. Nevertheless, it seems obvious that if she cannot access the main draw as an alternate, she will probably get a wild card. Emma has strong connections with Romania, which is the country of her father.

This is the second edition of this tournament. Last year the champion was Anett Kontaveit who defeated Simona Halep in the final. None of them are on the entry list this year. In 2021, Emma lost in the quarterfinals to Marta Kostyuk.
