Carlos Alcaraz has always stated his immense appreciation for Roger Federer. The Swiss Maestro has just announced his retirement playing his last match at the current Laver Cup. During a recent press conference in London, Roger was asked to comment about the young Spaniard.

Federer said: “I watched Carlos [Alcaraz] closely, what he did at the US Open and throughout the year. It’s been fantastic. I have said there will always be new superstars in the game, and he is one of them.”

Carlos Alcaraz and his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero decided not to play the Laver Cup because his schedule was ready too packed.
