Roger Federer decided to end his career playing doubles with his dear friend Rafael Nadal on Friday at the Laver Cup. Roger and Rafa lost that match against Frances Tiafoe and Jack Sock but that was not the important part of the evening. Emotions did run high after the encounter with Roger and Rafa struggling to fight tears.
There was a lovely moment of Roger hugging his wife Mirka, children and parents. Here is the video.

Laver Cup result
After the first day Team Europe and Team World are on a 2-2 scoreline. Both Federer and Nadal will not play during the weekend. Roger already announced that he would stop playing after pairing with Nadal. Rafa was visibly unfit and probably still struggling with his abdominal injuries.
